Terms of service

The rules of the house.

Last updated September 9, 2026. These terms apply to betyour.capital (the "Site"), the SlipLine Chrome extension ("SlipLine"), and any other product we list on the Site (together, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. What we are, and what we are not

Bet Your Capital ("we", "us") makes software. SlipLine is a browser tool that recognizes bet shorthand on web pages and helps you interact with Polymarket, a third-party prediction market, from your own wallet.

We are not a sportsbook, bookmaker, exchange, broker, money transmitter, or custodian. We do not offer, accept, price, or settle bets. We do not hold, control, or have access to your funds, your private keys, or your Polymarket balance. Every order placed through SlipLine is placed by you, signed by your wallet, and executed by Polymarket under Polymarket's terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if higher, to use the Services. You are responsible for determining whether using Polymarket, or prediction markets generally, is lawful where you are. Polymarket restricts access from certain jurisdictions; if you are not permitted to use Polymarket, you must not use SlipLine to do so. We may block or limit the Services in any jurisdiction at our discretion.

3. Your wallet and your responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for your wallet, private keys, and seed phrase. We never ask for them and cannot recover them.
  • Every transaction you sign is final once broadcast. We cannot reverse, cancel, or refund on-chain transactions or Polymarket orders.
  • You are responsible for checking every order before you confirm it, including the market, side, size, and price. SlipLine matches shorthand to markets automatically and a match can be wrong. The panel shows you the market before you bet; read it.
  • Deposits move through Polymarket's own bridge. Amounts below the bridge minimum, or sent to the wrong network, may be lost. Check the minimum shown before sending.

4. Fees

SlipLine is free to install. SlipLine participates in Polymarket's builder program, under which Polymarket attributes a fee on volume placed through SlipLine to us. The applicable fee is displayed before you confirm an order. Blockchain network fees and any Polymarket fees are separate and are set by those networks and by Polymarket.

5. Prices, scores, and data

Prices shown in SlipLine come from Polymarket. Scores and clocks come from third-party data feeds. Both can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Nothing in the Services is a recommendation to place any bet or an assurance that any price is available. The price you get is the price Polymarket fills you at.

6. No advice

Nothing on the Site or in the Services is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Prediction markets and tokens involve substantial risk, including the loss of everything you put in. Never bet or buy with money you cannot afford to lose.

7. The token

We intend to launch a token named Bet Your Capital with the ticker $BYC on Solana (the "Token"). Until we publish the contract address on the token page, no Token exists and any token claiming to be ours is not. The Token is not a security, a share, an investment contract, a claim on the revenue of Bet Your Capital or any product, or a promise of any payment to holders. There is no staking, governance, or fee sharing for holding it. The treasury's buyback and burn described on the token page happens only when the House Bets win and is subject to change, suspension, or cancellation, including on advice of counsel. The Token's value may go to zero. It may not be available in your jurisdiction, and polymarket.com is not available to users in the United States. Joining a mailing list creates no right to receive any Token. Acquiring, holding, or transferring the Token is at your own risk and subject to the laws that apply to you.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Services to break any law or the terms of Polymarket or any wallet provider; to interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, or probe the Services or our API beyond what the extension itself does; to circumvent geographic or eligibility restrictions; to manipulate markets; or to send us false feedback reports. We may suspend or block access for violations.

9. Intellectual property

The Services, including the SlipLine name, the Bet Your Capital name and mark, and the software, are ours or our licensors'. We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable license to use SlipLine as installed from the Chrome Web Store. Polymarket, Pump.fun, Solana, Chrome, and other names belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

10. Third-party services

The Services depend on third parties we do not control: Polymarket, blockchain networks, wallet software, bridges, data providers, Cloudflare, and the Chrome Web Store. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, fees, or terms, and their failures may make the Services unavailable or cause loss.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost funds, lost tokens, or lost data, arising from or related to the Services, however caused, even if we were told it could happen. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, for a free product, is zero) or one hundred US dollars.

13. Indemnity

You will defend and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Changes and termination

We may change the Services or these terms at any time. Changes to these terms take effect when posted with a new date at the top. Continued use after that is acceptance. You can stop using the Services at any time by removing the extension; your Polymarket balance and positions remain yours at polymarket.com. We may suspend or end the Services, or your access, at any time.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it.
