What we collect, and what we do not.
The short version. SlipLine reads the page you are on inside your own browser to find bet shorthand and matches it against Polymarket's schedule locally. Page content never leaves your browser. Your wallet talks to Polymarket directly; we never hold funds, never see your private keys, and never sell or share your data with advertisers. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics on this site or in the extension.
1. Who we are
"Bet Your Capital", "we" and "us" refer to the operator of betyour.capital and the products listed on it, including the SlipLine Chrome extension ("SlipLine"). Contact us at support@betyour.capital.
2. What SlipLine does with page content
SlipLine's single purpose is to recognize sports bet shorthand in the text of web pages you visit and let you act on it through Polymarket. To do that it reads the text of the page you are viewing. Recognition and matching happen entirely inside your browser: the extension keeps a local copy of Polymarket's game schedule and compares page text against it on your machine. Page content is never sent to us or to anyone else. The only time a phrase from a page leaves your browser is when you choose to send us a feedback report (see below).
SlipLine does not read or transmit text you type into password fields, payment forms, or other input fields, and it does not collect your browsing history.
3. Information we collect
3.1 From the SlipLine extension
- Install token. On first run the extension asks our server for an opaque install token, sending only the extension's id and version. The token lets us rate-limit and, if needed, revoke a single install. It is not linked to your name or wallet.
- Wallet address and orders. When you connect a wallet, the extension uses your public wallet address to read your Polymarket balance and positions and to place orders on Polymarket from your wallet. Because SlipLine is a Polymarket builder, each order request is countersigned by our server before it goes to Polymarket; our server sees the order request (market, side, size, price, and your wallet address) for the moment it takes to sign it and does not store it. Blockchain balance lookups are routed through our relay, which sees the wallet address being looked up and the requesting IP address for rate limiting. We never receive your private key or seed phrase; those stay in your wallet software.
- Feedback you choose to send. If you use the flag icon in a panel ("wrong bet") or the "should have caught this" option in the popup, we receive the phrase involved, the hostname of the site you were on (for example x.com, never the full page address), and what SlipLine matched, if anything. Reports are kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically.
- Settings. Your preferences (for example the light or dark theme) are stored in your browser's extension storage and are not sent to us.
- Technical logs. Our server, hosted on Cloudflare, records standard request logs (timestamp, route, status, and the IP address of the request) for security and debugging. We keep these for [YOUR VALUE: retention period, for example 7 days; Cloudflare Workers logs default to short retention].
Market data, prices, the game schedule, and live scores all come to the extension directly from Polymarket's public services. Those requests go from your browser to Polymarket, which sees your IP address, under Polymarket's own privacy policy. Polymarket, not us, holds your order history and balance.
3.2 From betyour.capital
- Token list signup. If you join the token list, your email address is stored with our email provider, MailerLite, and used only to send you news about the token and our products. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Support email. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to help you and for a reasonable period afterwards.
- Hosting logs. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses and request data to deliver and protect the site under its own privacy terms.
We do not collect your name, date of birth, government identifiers, or payment card details. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising and we do not run third-party analytics on this site or in the extension.
4. How we use information
- To provide the products: countersigning the orders you ask for as a Polymarket builder, relaying balance lookups, and keeping the extension working.
- To improve recognition, using the feedback reports you choose to send.
- To keep the products secure, detect abuse, and debug problems.
- To send you emails you signed up for.
- To comply with law and enforce our terms.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use it to build profiles for advertising.
5. Who we share information with
- Polymarket, which supplies the schedule, prices, and live scores the extension shows, and which receives your wallet address and order details when you deposit, read your balance, or place orders. It is the venue you are trading on.
- Blockchain networks and wallet software, which by design receive and publish the transactions you sign. On-chain data is public and permanent, and we cannot delete it.
- Service providers that host our API and site (Cloudflare), deliver email (MailerLite), serve the fonts on this site (Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font files load), and provide live scores and market data. They process data on our instructions.
- Authorities, if the law requires it or to protect the rights, safety, or property of users or the public.
6. Chrome Web Store disclosures
SlipLine's use of data it collects follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, SlipLine requests permission to read the content of web pages you visit only to recognize bet shorthand and display the matching market. We do not use that access for any other purpose, do not transfer page content to third parties, and do not use it for advertising, creditworthiness, or lending. The extension does not collect browsing history.
7. Data retention
Feedback reports are deleted automatically after 90 days. Order-signing requests are not stored. Server logs are kept for [YOUR VALUE: retention period]. Your email address stays on the token list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. On-chain data cannot be deleted by anyone.
8. Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@betyour.capital with the subject "Privacy request". We will need to verify the request came from the wallet or email address concerned. Residents of the EU, UK, California and other places with privacy laws have specific rights under those laws, which we honor. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
You can stop all collection by SlipLine at any time by removing the extension from Chrome.
9. Security
Our services run over HTTPS. Secrets and API keys are held server-side and never shipped inside the extension. We never ask for your private key or seed phrase; anyone who does, in our name, is not us. No system is perfectly secure, so please report anything that looks wrong to support@betyour.capital.
10. Children
Our products are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, or under the age of majority where they live. If you believe a minor has used our products, contact us and we will delete what we hold.
11. International transfers
Our service providers operate globally, so your information may be processed in the United States and other countries. We rely on their contractual safeguards for those transfers.
12. Changes
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. For material changes we will also say so on this site or in the extension.
